About Company

Responsible for daily performance and operation of Industry-Standard Architecture (ISA) server-based systems and services. Technical resource for the immediate team and other IS&T associates.

Responsibilities
• System Operations – Implements network Industry Standard Architecture (ISA) servers, operating systems, and LAN-based devices per established procedures. Works with System Architects to implement new systems and technologies Perform necessary system maintenance Implement annual system replacement process Coordinates backup and recovery strategies Works with end users, IS&T staff, and vendors to determine system specifications Monitors performance to ensure appropriate service levels Maintains necessary Patches, and firmware and version upgrades for IS&T systems Responsible for monitoring VPO and SIM Management Applications on systems and taking appropriate action to resolve issues Monitor DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory functions Review system logs Responsible for disposing of retired systems Documents in ticketing system work requests and incidents per department standard Provides Break/Fix Support to all IS&T Groups
• Administration – Updates Disaster Parts inventory Process Quotes and Purchase Reqs. for equipment procurement Track licenses and media Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintenance schedules Attends and participates in department staff, team, and individual meetings Adheres to PMO processes and procedures Process Data center needs for systems. i.e. Power/Network Connectivity etc.
• Documentation – Document system implementation and configurations Maintains resource usage in PMO applications Provides detailed Weekly Status Reports Maintains System configuration database Tracks and documents System Uptime
• Must be familiar with multi-server environments, including directory services, security, domain administration, server hardware, and general knowledge of PCs and network connectivity required.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.
• Must possess the ability to work on complex assignments under direction.
• Must have general knowledge of Systems, applications, and network environments.
• Must possess general knowledge of Windows, Linux, and HyperVisors.
• Must possess the ability to troubleshoot communication issues.
• Must participate in 24×7 On-Call rotation in support of UCHealth systems.

Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in a related field combination of education preferred.
• Preferred: 1 to 3 years of experience in IS&T and at least 1 year of experience in Systems preferred.
